Arooj completed her BS in Chemistry from Bahauddin Zakariya University where her thesis explored the advances in the development of Pt, Pd and Ni based electrocatalysts for ethanol electrooxidation. In Dr. Akhtar's lab, Arooj is working on her Master's thesis. She loves reading books, painting and swimming.

SAJAWAL MASOOD
Undergraduate ResearcherSajawal is a senior BS Chemical Engineering student at Lahore University of Management Sciences. He plans to complete his final year thesis under the supervision of Dr, Faheem where he will explore carbon dioxide separation via membranes. Sajawal loves to play cricket, and fond of landscaping and birds.
MUHAMMAD HAFI WADGAMA
Graduate Research AssistantHafi earned his BS in Chemical Engineering from Lahore University of Management Sciences. His undergraduate thesis stemmed around the upcycling of waste plastic to fabricate membranes for water desalination. He is currently working under Dr. F.H. Akhtar as a Research Assistant. During his spare time, Hafi loves to cycle, try different foods and listen to music
